The traditional interpretation states that this is a universally binding command. Therefore, whether we’re offended or not, we need to follow what Scripture teaches.

Some argue that this were not Gods original plan for man to rule over his wife with love care and respect and protection and not any form of abuse or evil, as this happend after mankinds fall into sin eating the apple. Or that men shall not have higher saleries then women or girls doing same types of job.
